I don’t buy bread anymore! No kneading, No eggs, No butter! The easiest and cheapest bread recipe
Ingredients:
- Water: 200 ml (0.85 cup)
- Sugar: 25g (2 tbsp)
- Yeast: 3g (1 tsp)
- Bread Flour/Wheat Flour: 300g (2 cups)
- Salt: 3g (1/2 tsp)
- Olive Oil: 20g (2 tbsp)
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- Add the flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth, then shape it into a ball.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the dough in a greased loaf pan, brush the top with olive oil, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool before slicing.

- You can customize this bread recipe by adding herbs, seeds, or dried fruits to the dough for extra flavor.
- Store leftover bread in an airtight container to keep it fresh for longer.
