The most delicious peach cake I’ve ever eaten!
Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 4 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil. Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet ingredients, and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Arrange the sliced peaches on top of the batter in a single layer.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving. Enjoy!
