How to prepare the husbandzzi
In a bowl mix the flour, dry brewer’s yeast, sugar, milk, seed oil, vanilla extract, honey, egg, salt, orange zest.
When the ingredients have come together, knead with your hands to obtain a smooth and compact dough. Let it rise for 1 hour.
Divide the dough into 12 balls (about 80 g each). Put them on the parchment paper, leave some space between them to prevent them from sticking together during leavening. Let rise for 1 hour.
Brush the egg + milk on the sandwiches and cook in a static oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.
Whip the cream with the icing sugar and vanilla extract to prepare the cream.
Cut the brioches in half and fill them with the cream. Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
The Maritozzi are ready to be enjoyed.
storage
You can keep the husbands without filling in a plastic food bag for 2 days . If stuffed, put them in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, and consume them the following day at the latest.
