Soft Donuts: The Easy Way to Make Them Soft and Delicious

Fluffy Donuts are a classic, delicious treat that can be made at home. The yeast dough is cut into circles and then fried until golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. These donuts can be topped with icing, powdered sugar, or any other topping of your choice for a sweet and satisfying experience.

Ingredients :

250g all-purpose flour
250g Manitoba flour
6 g dry yeast
150ml milk
100ml milk
2 eggs
50g sugar
50g lard
25ml lemon juice
1 packet of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
Granulated sugar to taste
Oil to taste

Preparation :

Pour the milk into a bowl and dissolve the brewer’s yeast.
Mix the two flours then add the dissolved yeast, milk, eggs, sugar, baking powder, lard, lemon juice and salt.
Form a homogeneous dough and let it rise until it doubles in volume.
Roll out the dough and form donuts. Then let them rise for another hour.
Fry them in hot oil and dip them in the sugar.
