For some1 who doesn’t care much for CHOCOLATE I seem to be making a lot of things with CHOCOLATE…
INGREDIENTS:
400g dark cooking chocolate (roughly chopped)
400g brown sugar
280g unsalted butter
150g plain flour sifted (Cake flour for South Africans)
4 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 tbs vanilla essence
Equipment needed:
Small baking tray
Medium pot & 2 medium heat proof bowl
Spatula
Parchment paper
METHOD:
PRE-HEAT THE OVEN PLEASE
- Over medium heat, bring water to a boil in a pot & place a medium bowl ( should fit snuggly). Add your chocolate & let it melt..stir occasionally.
- Once it has melted..Add sugar & butter to the bowl & continue to stir until it has all incorporated. Set the pot & the bowl aside(away from heat)
- In a separate bowl break & beat the eggs, now slowly add the eggs to the chocolate mixture, & stir until it’s all mixed.
- Then, add the sifted flour bit by bit to the chocolate mixture. Add flour, stir, add flour stir until it’s all incorporated.Then a pinch of salt + vanilla..stir
- Get a get a small baking tray, line it with parchment paper, spread butter all over & pour the mixture.
- Bake for 30minutes @180⁰. Take it out let it rest..
- Do a nutella & chocolate garage & pour over the brownies(See choc cake vid on how to make it)
8) Cut it into squares & ENJOY
