Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups (120g) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (250ml) hot milk of your choice
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs or vegan substitute
  • 4 tablespoons (45g) cocoa or carob powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup (40g) nuts

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and hot milk. Let it soak for 10 minutes.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas and add them to the oat mixture.
  4. Mix in the eggs, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until well combined.
  5. Fold in the nuts.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes, or until set and slightly firm to the touch.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
