Ingredients :
500g medium semolina
150g butter
1 tsp of salt
Warm water (150ml)
Preparation :
Mix semolina and salt.
Add the melted and cooled butter. Rub the semolina with the butter to make it penetrate (without kneading).
Let stand 30 minutes. Add lukewarm water while picking up the dough (you must obtain a dough that holds when you spread it).
Heat a frying pan (a crepe maker for me).
Cut out diamond shapes or use a cookie cutter.
Place the mtakba on the pan and cook for about 7 minutes on each side over medium heat.
Serve as is or with honey.
