The ladyfingers tile is a spoon dessert perfect for warm first courses, quick to prepare and without cooking in the oven . The preparation is very simple, because you proceed as for the traditional brick : simply cook the cream on the stove for a few minutes until it thickens, add the cream cheese to give it a greater consistency and create a thick layer of cream. This is enclosed between two layers of ladyfingers, which we have replaced the more traditional dry biscuits, for an even softer result. Rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hourswill complete the work: to be served very cold at the end of meals and, if left over, to be enjoyed as a delicious snack. How to prepare the ladyfingers tile

Let’s start with the preparation of the cream: in a saucepan we pour the milk, the eggs, the sugar, the corn starch and the vanilla extract1. Stir over low heat, stirring constantly to avoid the formation of lumps2. Once you have a thick and smooth cream, add the cream cheese3.

Work everything until you get a compound without lumps4. Distribute the ladyfingers into a rectangular cake mold, breaking them where necessary to fill the holes5. Pour all the cream over the ladyfingers6.

Cover with another layer of ladyfingers7. Put in the fridge to rest for 2 hours8. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve the ladyfingers tile9.
