This cheesy bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Add the shredded cheese to the dry ingredients and stir until evenly distributed.
- Slowly pour in 1 cup of water while stirring the mixture. Continue adding water until a sticky dough forms.
- Using your hands, shape the dough into a round loaf on the prepared baking sheet.
- Using a sharp knife, score the top of the bread with an “X” pattern.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- Remove from the oven and allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy your warm and cheesy bread!
