Ingredients :
– 4 salmon fillets (about 1 inch thick)
– Salt and freshly ground pepper
– 2 teaspoons of olive oil
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup (65 ml) of broth chicken
– 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
– 3 tbsp butter, divided + 1 tsp butter
– 1/2 tsp honey
– 2 tbsp fresh parsley
– lemon wedges
Preparation :
Step: 1
In a small pot, add a teaspoon of butter and heat over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Step: 2
Add chicken broth and lemon juice. Let the sauce reduce by about half (about 3 minutes).
Step: 3
Add butter and honey and whisk until well incorporated. Put aside.
Step: 4
Season the salmon fillets well with salt and pepper.
Step: 5
Heat the olive oil over medium high heat in a large saucepan.
Step: 6
Add the salmon and cook for about 4 minutes on one side and 2 to 3 minutes on the other.
Step: 7
Serve with a generous drizzle of butter sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges
