2 pounds salmon
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 cloves of minced garlic
4 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Mix together honey, garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Place salmon onto the prepared baking sheet and fold up all 4 sides of the foil.
Pour the mixture over the salmon.
Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, covering completely and sealing the packet closed.
Take the salmon to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
Move the salmon to an oven rack close to the broiler and broil on high for an additional 5 minutes, or until caramelized and slightly charred.
Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
