Eggless Vanilla Cake Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
1 and 3/4 cups (210g) all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (200g) sugar
Wet Ingredients
1 cup water
6 tablespoons oil (vegetable, canola, or sunflower)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
1: Preheat and Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Grease and flour an 8 inch round or square baking pan, or line with parchment paper.
2: Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
3: Mix in Wet Ingredients
Add water, oil, lemon juice, and vanilla extract directly into the bowl.
Mix until smooth and just combined avoid overmixing.
4: Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and level the surface.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
5: Cool and Serve
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing or frosting.
