Krapfen fried with jam: the step-by-step recipe to make them super delicious!

INGREDIENTS :

310 g (2 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
7g dry yeast
25 g (2 tbsp.) sugar
125 ml (1/2 cup) milk (warm)
2 egg yolks
1/2

Oil for frying
Sugar
Strawberry jam

PROCESS :

In a bowl, add the flour, yeast, sugar, milk (warm), egg yolks and salt, then mix. When the dough begins to form, knead it with your hands.
Add the butter and continue to knead to obtain a smooth dough. Cover with cling film and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
When the time is up, transfer the dough to the work surface and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Form balls (about 60 grams) and transfer them to the baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Cover with a tea towel and let rise for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, transfer the donuts to the pan with hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides and fluffy.
Cover the donuts with sugar, fill them with strawberry jam and serve.
