Fluffy Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups of unsalted butter, at room temperature (3 sticks)
- 4 to 5 cups of powdered sugar, sifted (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 2-3 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter on medium speed until creamy and smooth.
- Gradually add in the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed until well combined.
- Add in the vanilla extract and salt, and mix on medium speed until the frosting is light and fluffy.
- If the frosting is too thick, gradually add in the heavy cream or milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Once the frosting is ready, you can use it to frost your favorite cakes, cupcakes, or cookies!

- Make sure your butter is at room temperature to ensure a smooth and creamy frosting.
- Sifting the powdered sugar before adding it to the butter will help prevent lumps in the frosting.
