Fireball Cherry Blasters

Fireball Cherry Blasters

Ingredients You Need
1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
1 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Be sure your cherries are ripe but firm. Overripe cherries may break down too much during simmering. You can use a cherry pitter or slice them in half and remove the pits manually.

Step by Step Instructions
1: Make the Infusion Syrup
In a medium saucepan, combine the Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, granulated sugar, water, and lemon juice.
Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture begins to simmer.
2: Add the Cherries
Once the syrup is simmering, add in the pitted cherries.
Let them cook in the syrup for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they soften and begin to absorb the cinnamon flavor.
3: Cool and Store
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature in the pan.
Once cooled, pour everything into a mason jar or airtight container, making sure the cherries are fully submerged in the syrup.
4: Chill Overnight
Refrigerate for at least 24 hours. This gives the cherries time to soak and deepen in flavor.
Store for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
