EASY STRAWBERRY TART

Happy Mother’s day to all the beautiful Mamas out there, you’re all kinds of Amazing
nothing like homemade Strawberry Tart to celebrate special occasions.

INGREDIENTS :

Strawberry Tart

The Base:

  • 200 g butter( room temperature)
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup powder sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour

The Pastry Cream:

  • 2 cups liquid milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • zest of 1 lemon

METHOD :

  1. in a large bowl, cream the butter & sugar. add the eggs & vanilla mix to combine then add the flour & continue mixing until getting a combined dough.
  2. spread the dough in the tart pan, poke the surface with the tip of a fork . bake it in a preheated oven 180’C for 20 minutes
  3. let it cool down before removing it from the pan

For The Cream:

  1. in a pan, mix all the ingredients together put on medium heat while mixing continuously until thickened.
  2. transfer it to container and cover it directly on the top to avoid getting a thick surface when you want to use it.
  3. let it cool completely before spreading it on the cooled baked dough.
  4. decorate it with sliced.
