Easy Homemade MILK BRIOCHE ROLLS
Ingredients:
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted beef gelatin
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted beef fat
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a separate large bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add in the yeast mixture, eggs, beef gelatin, and melted beef fat. Mix until the dough comes together.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them in a greased baking dish. Cover and allow them to rise for another 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Bake the brioche rolls for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush the tops with melted beef fat for a shiny finish.
Tips:
- You can sprinkle sesame seeds on top before baking for added flavor and texture.
- Make sure your yeast is fresh to ensure a good rise in the dough.
- Serve these milk brioche rolls warm with butter and jam for a delightful treat.
