Donut Doughnuts: How to make them irresistible!
Doughnuts are round-shaped sweet cakes fried in hot oil and usually covered with powdered sugar or syrup. They are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside for a delicious dessert or snack.
INGREDIENTS :
140 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
240 mL (1 cup) water
3 eggs
75 g (⅓ cup) butter
a pinch of salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation :
Put the water and butter over medium heat and boil until the butter melts.
Add salt and flour, mix with a spoon until dough forms.
Add vanilla extract to the dough, then break in 3 eggs, one at a time, while working the dough with a hand mixer.
Transfer the batter to the pastry bag and poach 12 circles on parchment paper.
Bake each doughnut in preheated oil for 3-4 minutes or until golden on both sides.
