Super Delicious Churros Recipe
So easy to make, here is the recipe for the famous churros, they come in the form of a fried dough in the shape of “big spaghetti”.
Ingredients :
225g Flour
2 eggs
60g Sugar
60g Butter
25 cl Water
1 pinch Salt
Frying oil
Preparation :
In a saucepan, boil the water with the butter, salt and 2 pinches of sugar. Sift the flour into a bowl, dig a well and pour the boiling water into it, stirring with a wooden spoon. You will quickly obtain a thick paste but of homogeneous texture.
Add the beaten eggs, mix and leave the dough to rest for 1 hour in the fridge.
Heat the frying oil to 180°C.
Spoon the batter into a #10 fluted piping bag. Press out strips of batter 10cm long, then dip them into the fry (don’t do this directly above the fry bath, lay them on parchment paper or on a plate and pour into the frying bath afterwards).
Operate in several times so that the donuts do not stick to each other. Let them brown, return them to the frying with the skimmer. Take them out and drain them on absorbent paper. Dust the churros with powdered sugar and serve warm.
