Cloud-Like Soft Dinner Rolls You’ll Love to Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and honey. Sprinkle the yeast over the mixture and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add the flour and salt to the bowl, then mix until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a smooth ball and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Brush the rolls with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy the cloud-like softness of these dinner rolls!
    Tips:
  • Make sure the milk is warm but not too hot, as it can kill the yeast.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle some sesame seeds or herbs on top of the rolls before baking.
  • These rolls freeze well, so you can make a batch ahead of time and reheat when ready to serve.
