Ingredients:
250 Manitoba flour
250g flour
2 eggs
200g ricotta cheese
130g sugar
12g fresh brewer’s yeast
120g milk
100g chocolate chips
vanilla or vanillin
Powdered sugar to decorate
Preparation:
- Make melt the yeast in a glass of milk at room temperature.
- In a bowl, combine the flours, sugar, yeast and milk mixture and a little vanilla.
- Mix for a few minutes.
- Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture.
- Knead for a few minutes until the eggs are completely absorbed by the dough.
- Now add the ricotta little by little.
- Mix for 10 minutes.
- Finally, add the chocolate chips.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise for 3 hours.
- After the rising time, roll out the dough using a rolling pin and make donuts using a cookie cutter.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rise another hour.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
- Decorate with icing sugar before serving
