Caramel flan like Grandma’s

Ingredients :

1 can of condensed milk
2 can of milk (use the can of condensed milk as a measure)
3 gems
3 whites
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence

– Syrup ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water

Preparation :

In a saucepan, put the sugar and bring to medium heat until it is melted and golden. Then turn off the heat and add the water little by little, stirring constantly.

It will form sugar cubes, so you have to move around a lot until it melts. After the sugar cubes are well melted, turn off the heat and put the syrup in a container.

The syrup will be very runny, but once cooled it will be fine. When the syrup is very cold, caramelize the shape of the pudding.

– How to prepare the pudding:
Beat the egg whites into the snow and set aside. In the liquid, put the condensed milk, gems, milk and vanilla essence.

Beat for 2 minutes and pour into a bowl.

Go and put the egg whites and mix gently until they are added. Pour the mixture in caramelized form.

Light to cook in a preheated oven, 180º C, in a bain-marie for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Unformed and lightweight for the fridge for 3 hours
