Just Add Coca-Cola Bread
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 cup of Coca-Cola
- 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and dry yeast. Mix well.
- Gradually pour in the Coca-Cola while stirring the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Punch down the risen dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in the prepared pan.
- Brush the top of the dough with melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Tips:
- For a sweeter bread, you can add an extra tablespoon of sugar to the dough.
