Grandma’s old recipes | CRISPY CHICKEN STRIPS
Ingredients :
- 3 fresh eggs
- 2 large Chicken fillets
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of your favorite spices
- 2 tablespoons of corn starch
- Oil, for frying
- Fresh Lettuce, for serving
Directions :
- In a bowl, beat the eggs until well scrambled. Set aside.
- Cut the chicken fillets into strips and season with minced garlic and spices.
- Dredge each chicken strip in corn starch, then dip into the beaten eggs, and then back into the corn starch.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken strips until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
- Serve hot with fresh lettuce on the side.
Tips :
- Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying the chicken to ensure a crispy exterior.
- Feel free to mix up the spices to create different flavor profiles for your chicken strips.
- You can also bake the chicken strips in the oven for a healthier alternative.
