Watermelon rind jam: the tasty summer jam recipe
Ingredients :
WATERMELON BARK 600 g
LEMON ZEST
LEMON JUICE
SUGAR 200g
Instructions :
Step 1
Remove the pulp from a slice of watermelon.
2nd step
Remove the green part of the skin and keep some of the white of the watermelon with the rest of the pulp.
Step 3
Cut into small pieces and put in a saucepan.
Step 4
Add the lemon zest and juice and the sugar, mix well and leave to stand for 30 minutes. Then cook for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Mix in the pan until smooth and cook for another 30 minutes.
Step 6
Leave to cool and pour into small jars.
Step 7
Close the jars and store them until you want to serve watermelon rind jam.
