Strawberry Banana Pudding
Ingredients:
- 2 boxes of crispy Vanilla Wafers
- 2 cups of sliced fresh Strawberries
- 3 ripe Bananas
- 1 cup of granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cup of Cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon of Salt
- 4 large Egg Yolks
- 3 cups of whole Milk
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted Butter
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- Whisk in the egg yolks and milk until well combined.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens and boils.
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla extract.
- Let the pudding cool for a few minutes, then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- In a trifle dish or individual serving cups, layer vanilla wafers, sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, and pudding.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
- Refrigerate for an additional 2-3 hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve chilled and enjoy the fruity goodness!
