Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of cheese, grated

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • Sunflower oil, for frying

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, onion, carrot, garlic, cheese, and spring onions.
  2. Add the beaten egg, salt, and flour to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. Heat sunflower oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Take a spoonful of the potato mixture and carefully place it in the skillet, flattening it with the back of the spoon.
  5. Fry until golden brown on both sides, flipping halfway through cooking.
  6. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
  7. Repeat with the remaining mixture, adding more oil to the skillet as needed.
  8. Serve the crispy potatoes with onions hot, and enjoy!
