Perfectly Baked Lemon Garlic Butter Fish
Ingredients:
- 4 fillets of white fish (such as tilapia or cod)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- Place the fish fillets in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Pour the lemon garlic butter mixture over the fish fillets, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the foil and broil the fish for an additional 2-3 minutes to brown the top.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Tips:
- Make sure to not overcook the fish, as it can become dry and rubbery.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs and spices to the lemon garlic butter mixture for extra flavor.
