Pecan Pie Lasagna – Layers of Sweet, Nutty Perfection
Ingredients:
- 1 packet of graham crackers (crushed)
- 1 1/2 cups of chopped pecans
- 1 1/4 cups of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 package of cream cheese (softened)
- 1 container of whipped topping (thawed)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, 1 cup of chopped pecans, and 1/4 cup of brown sugar. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is well combined.
- Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form the first layer.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add in the remaining 1 cup of brown sugar and mix until combined. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust in the baking dish.
- Top with the whipped topping, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of chopped pecans over the whipped topping to garnish.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before serving.
- Slice into squares and enjoy the layers of sweet, nutty perfection!
Tips:
- Feel free to add a drizzle of caramel sauce or chocolate syrup on top for extra indulgence.
- You can also sprinkle some extra crushed graham crackers on top before serving for added crunch.
