One Bowl Chocolate Cake
One bowl of chocolate cake is the easiest chocolate cake recipe for any novice baker. It is very simple and easy to make for a family or when you want to bake something very quickly.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (120 grams/ 4 1/4 Oz) of all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of coffee powder (optional)
- 3/4th cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of yoghurt
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 3 eggs at room temperature
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, coffee powder, cocoa powder, and sugar. Mix well.
- Add the yoghurt, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until everything is well combined and smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve your delicious one-bowl chocolate cake. Enjoy!
