Meat Pizzaiola: the simple and tasty dish!
INGREDIENTS :
480 g rump steak, thinly sliced
450 g (2 cups) tomato sauce
60 mL (4 tablespoons) olive oil
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 g (2 tsp.) oregano
salt and pepper to taste
METHOD :
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped garlic and cook for one minute.
Add tomato sauce, bring to a boil and season with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to low, close with a lid and cook for 15 minutes.
Add meat slices, coat with sauce, close lid and cook for 5 minutes, then turn over and cook for another 5 minutes.
Open the lid and sprinkle with oregano.
Serve and enjoy!
