Homemade biscuits: how to make a perfect shortcrust pastry
Ingredients:
For the butter crust:
250 g of all purpose flour
100 g of icing sugar
100 g of cold butter
1 egg + 1 yolk
1 salt
baking powder 1 tsp
1 vanillin
For the chocolate topping:
100 g of melted dark chocolate
Directions:
In a bowl mix the flour with the butter.
Then add sugar, baking powder, salt and vanillin.
Finally add the eggs and form a homogeneous stick.
Refrigerate for an hour.
Then roll out the dough, shape the biscuits and bake at 180° for 10 minutes.
Glaze with chocolate and decorate as desired.
