Ingredients:

  • 1 box of strawberry gelatin
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 container of whipped topping
  • Pastel sprinkles for garnish

Directions:

  1. Prepare and bake the vanilla cake mix in a 9×13 inch pan according to the package instructions.
  2. Once the cake is baked and cooled, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the hot water and strawberry gelatin until fully dissolved. Stir in the cold water.
  4. Carefully pour the strawberry gelatin mixture over the cake, making sure to fill all the holes.
  5. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to set.
  6. Once the cake has set, spread the whipped topping over the top.
  7. Decorate with pastel sprinkles for a festive touch.
