Cream croissants with coconut, they are simply addictive!
250 g flour
100 g cornstarch
50 g sugar
5 packets of vanilla sugar
250 g butter
170 g coconut flakes
1 tbsp baking powder
10 tbsp sweet cream
50 g sugar
4 packets of vanilla sugar
Preparation
First heat the butter and liquefy it.
Then stir the butter, flour, cornstarch, baking powder, sugar, coconut flakes and the cream into a dough and knead.
Now let the dough cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
Then form small croissants from pieces about the size of marbles and place them on a greased baking tray. Bake at 170°C on the middle shelf for 20 minutes
- During the baking time, mix the 50 g sugar and the 4 packets of vanilla sugar well in a bowl.
Now just turn the finished croissants in the vanilla sugar-sugar mixture and set aside to cool.
P.S.: The croissants may still feel soft straight out of the oven, but that changes after a short cooling time! Done!
