Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each mold about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the donuts spring back when lightly touched.
  7. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  • Be careful not to overmix the batter, as this can result in tough donuts.
  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon to the dry ingredients.
