CLASSIC CAKE RECIPE

CLASSIC CAKE

Ingredients :

4 eggs
250g sugar
130g butter (melted)
180g milk
Vanilla extract
350g flour
16g baking powder
Caster sugar

Preparation :

  1. In a bowl, add the eggs and sugar and beat with a mixer until the sugar dissolves. Add butter, milk and mix again.
  2. Gradually add vanilla essence, baking powder and flour and mix well again until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into the cake tin (26 cm – size of the tin) greased with flour and bake in the oven at 180°C / 360°F for 40 minutes.
  4. Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool completely and decorate with powdered sugar.
