Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it to a wire rack to cool completely.
    Tips:
  • For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle a glaze made of powdered sugar and milk over the cooled bread.
  • Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top before baking for an extra burst of cinnamon flavor.
