Churro Love! The Sweetest Way to End Any Meal
Ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 tablespoons of white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
Directions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then stir them into the flour mixture until smooth.
- Heat oil for frying in a deep-fryer or deep skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Spoon the dough into a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip. Carefully pipe strips of dough into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden; drain on paper towels.
- Combine the 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon. Roll drained churros in the mixture.
