Castella cake: the recipe to prepare the fluffiest dessert ever
Ingredients:
70 g of flour
70 g of butter
67 g of milk
4 yolks
1 pinch of salt
6 g of honey
2 g of vanilla extract
4 album
73 g of sugar
The indications :
Melt the butter in the milk and add the egg yolks, salt, honey and vanilla extract; also add the flour; whisk the egg whites with the sugar until stiff and add the rest of the batter; pour the mixture into a 17 cm diameter pan and place it in a saucepan with water; cook at 140° for 15 minutes and at 150° for another 50 minutes.
