Ingredients :

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted Beef, softened
  • 1 and 1/2 cups (300g) granulated Sugar
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup (240ml) Milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened beef and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve slices of this delicious butter cake with a hot cup of tea or coffee for a delightful treat!
