INGREDIENTS :
500 gr. Brussels sprouts
1 level teaspoon of salt
80 gr. of onions
150 gr. small smoked bacon
2 tablespoons of heavy cream
pepper
PREPARATION:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil with a teaspoon of salt.
Clean the Brussels sprouts with fresh water, removing any remaining soil. Remove any small wilted leaves.
Put the Brussels sprouts in boiling water and cook for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Peel and chop onions.
Fry the onions with the bacon and Brussels sprouts for a few minutes. Add the fresh cream, pepper and Espelette pepper. Prolong the cooking for 2 or 3 minutes, stirring regularly, and serve.
