Strawberry Shortcake Cheesecake Rolls
Ingredients:
1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup cinnamon sugar
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the diced strawberries with granulated sugar and lemon juice, set aside.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough into triangles, then spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle.
- Spoon some strawberries onto the cream cheese mixture, then roll up the crescent rolls.
- Brush the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.
Tips:
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for smooth mixing.
- You can add a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top before serving for extra sweetness.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delicious dessert.
