The famous butter cake that drives the whole world crazy melts in your mouth ! Recipe in 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 250g of all-purpose flour
- 200g of unsalted butter, softened
- 200g of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 cup of milk
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×9 inch cake pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk, starting and ending with the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
