St. Patrick’s Day Baileys Chocolate Mousse
Ingredients
- 200g of semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 300ml of heavy cream
- 100ml of Irish cream liqueur
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish
Directions:
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the Irish cream liqueur, salt, and vanilla extract into the whipped cream until well combined.
- Gradually fold in the melted chocolate until the mousse is smooth and creamy.
- Divide the mousse into serving glasses or bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Before serving, top with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of chocolate shavings for an extra touch of decadence.

- Make sure to use good quality chocolate for the best flavor.
- Be gentle when folding the ingredients together to keep the mousse light and fluffy.
- For an extra kick, you can add a splash of espresso or coffee liqueur to the mousse.
- This mousse can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
