Special homemade treat

“I’ve been making these for years and people lose their mind over them every time. They seem like a special homemade treat, but even my 10 year old can make them by herself. A FABULOUS dessert that couldn’t be easier! If you’ve never had this before they are a must make, grandma’s recipe!”

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Directions :

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Slowly pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring constantly.
  5. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. If using nuts, fold them in at this point.
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  7. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
    Tips :
  • For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake them and let them cool completely before cutting.
  • Feel free to add in your favorite mix-ins like chocolate chunks, caramel swirls, or marshmallows.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
