Chocolate Chip Yogurt Pancake
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of sugar (45 grams)
- 1 sachet (8 grams) of vanilla sugar
- 3 tablespoons of oil (45 milliliters)
- 125 grams of yogurt (½ cup)
- 60 milliliters of milk (¼ cup)
- 190 grams of flour (1 ½ cups)
- 10 grams of baking powder (2 teaspoons)
- 50 grams of chocolate chips (¼ cup)
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, and vanilla sugar until well combined.
- Add in the oil, yogurt, and milk, mix until smooth.
- Sift in the flour and baking powder, stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in tough pancakes.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease with oil.
- Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan to form a pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
- Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or a dollop of yogurt.
Tips
- For extra fluffy pancakes, let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes before cooking.
- You can customize these pancakes by adding in nuts, berries, or even a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor.
- Make sure not to overmix the batter to avoid tough pancakes.
